Altered States & the Trace of Flux
paintings, drawings, kinetic sculptures 1960-75
This exhibition covers the last
15 years of Wynter's life and charts the evolution
of his painting from the complex, taught surfaces
of his 50s work through to the flat, bright surfaces
and curvilinear forms evoking movement in water
and space of his paintings of the 60s and 70s,.
The exhibition is drawn entirely from the artist's
estate and features both widely exhibited works and
those never before seen
